Every late December, I look over my life and wonder what could be improved, what could be made better. New Year’s resolutions are notorious for not being held. For 2014, I resolved to lose five pounds a month. (That held until April.) However, some of my plans do affect my writing. I’m generally not good at keeping to resolutions, or to keeping to a schedule, but these are some things I am very comfortable about promising.
New Novel for 2015
I’m very happy to announce that I am working on the sequel for Clara. It is tentatively entitled Clara’s Return and should be released in the fall of 2015. For those of you who haven’t read Clara, I won’t spoil you but I will say that Clara is faced with new challenges and foes–without the help of Emmerich. A more detailed synopsis will appear at some point in the summer.
Open for Guest Posts
Beginning in 2015, I will be open for guest posts. Any authors, agents, publishers, anyone dealing in the indie book world is free to ask for a slot. I would appreciate a “swap”, where I can appear on the other person’s blog as a guest. However, it is not necessary. Over the next months, I may open up to other opportunities, perhaps even reviews, but guest posts are all I am doing at the moment.
New Cover for Willows of Fate
I am currently working with Fiona Jayde at Fiona Jayde Media. She’s really talented and really lovely. I’m not sure when the new cover will be out but I’m hoping for some point in January. I’m very excited. I knew she was the one I wanted to work with when I saw her portfolio. She’s come up with some excellent ideas!
I look forward to 2015. It’s going to be a great year with lots of surprises and new things.
